PCOS Glycemic Load Calculator

Pick a food from the Peach glycemic index table and a serving amount. You will see that food's glycemic index, an estimated glycemic load for the portion you chose, and whether that load sits in a low, medium, or high band. Pairing, cooking, and your own response still matter more than any single number.

Check any food against your PCOS subtype

Peach scans any meal or barcode and scores it for PCOS — with recipes, meal plans, workouts and full cycle & symptom tracking.

Figures come from the Peach PCOS glycemic index table. Load is scaled from the published serving; it is an estimate, not a lab measurement. This tool is educational and informational only — not medical advice.

FAQs

What is glycemic load?

Glycemic load estimates how much a typical serving of a food may raise blood glucose. It combines glycemic index with the carbohydrate in that serving, so it is usually more useful than index alone.

Do the bands mean a food is good or bad for PCOS?

No. Low, medium, and high describe the estimated glucose impact of a portion, not a moral ranking. What you eat it with, how often it shows up, and your subtype all change the picture.

Is this medical advice?

No. This calculator is educational and informational only. It is not a substitute for a conversation with a qualified clinician or registered dietitian.
